A politically incorrect Christmas to you

Merry Christmas. There, I said it. The most divisive, politically incorrect statement of the year. America the free, America the proud, America the brave, is becoming America the cowed, America the tongue-tied, America the non offensive.  A very sensible and basic right, given by our Founding Fathers to guard our liberties, that Congress shall make no law regarding religion, is being transitioned into a new tenet: America is not one nation under God, and that God is not and never will be Jesus. Driving the 35 miles to my home from Albuquerque the other night, I was struck by the dearth of lights and Christmas decorations along the way. It used to be that together America joyously celebrated the wondrous Christmas story and our rich national heritage of embracing good cheer and hope; whether in times of plenty, or times of lean, in times of peace, and during war. Singing carols on the route home, I thought of the two millennium wherein hope has been imparted, often through the spirit and blessed words of such songs as Oh Holy Night, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, and The First Noel. People were not offended, but encouraged and refreshed by a message that has gladdened the hearts of mankind for years and years. And now, suddenly, some emotionally stunted people have discovered the greater truth, the greater message, that we should all benefit others through our silence and lack of religious joy?
What utter presumptuous nonsense. We are singing truths that have changed lives to the betterment of individuals and civilizations throughout time. These are not fairy tales, but the foundation upon which this nation rests: our founders came for religious freedom.

And suddenly, our memories must be wiped, we must not remember nor comment that Christmas means Christ-mass, a mass for the Messiah. All these two hundred plus years that we have been cheerfully singing these songs in our schools shows our usual lack of sensitivity. Oh, those terrible Americans, self-satisfied as usual in their religious contentment! What arrogance we show to express the sweet and simple sentiment, “Merry Christmas”.
I wonder, will we continue to submit? Are we in a dream? Who have we allowed in office, who have we allowed to rise in power in our schools, teaching our children this spiteful nonsense of rejecting Christmas and Jesus and religious freedom under the pretense of caring about other people and their supposedly ultra sensitive tiny little feelings? We have had freedom of religion, and a variety of religions flourish in America. Will it really now benefit us somehow if we stomp Christianity into the ground to make room for
secularism or other more politically favored religions? I don’t think so.
Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas to you. May you and your family have the most wonderful, joyous, politically incorrect Christmas ever.

Last words: Jesus speaks to his apostles before his arrest

Jesus knew he was going to be arrested and murdered, yet he spoke encouraging words to his apostles. What would your last words be to those you love, before you were abducted by people who planned to kill you?

On the Battlefield of the Lord

Last night I was watching a movie I had recorded, called “Water”. It was about an eight year old Hindu girl in India, who was a widow and had been sent to live out the rest of her life with other widows. In the movie, there was misery all around because of the religious belief that a widow must remain faithful to the dead husband.

As I watched, I was in the Spirit, and it was as though I was watching very religious  people, not just the widows, but all of India.

And as I watched the people, I also was aware of the invisible demon strongman over them, the strongman of India, whom I have seen many times before. At first, I thought that the religiosity was due to him, but then I saw that really this was the work of Lucifer.

Lucifer, up to his old tricks; Lucifer, imposing his pseudo-religion on the people. I saw misery, rampant, in his cold-hearted treatment of mankind.

Then, it was as though I saw the scene from outside time; it was 20,000 years in the future. I saw the people, still existing, no longer under the spell that had been put upon them. They were living, happily, joyfully; content.

I saw that it was as though they had had a very bad beginning, like children who had been abused but then taken from their caretaker. Now they were fine, now they were long recovered.

And I saw Lucifer, and his failure in the responsibility that had been given to him, and his misuse of the abilities with which he had been created.

Then, Lucifer was no more, and the people and the strongman were released from the feeling that had rested over them, almost as though they had been freed from a spell. The strong, overpowering feeling of religiosity was lifted, and they were free to be themselves, to be normal. And now they were happy.

……

Later, I suddenly saw in the spirit, as though I was holding a weapon. The weapon was an enormous fire flamer of some type. In front of me was a field, belonging to Lucifer. It looked as though it was covered with dried stalks. I turned the flamer from one side to the other and burned the whole field and it was instantly scorched to the ground. Lucifer stood in the distance and saw what was done.

“The Year of Satan”

Here is the YouTube video where I am speaking about ”The Year of Satan”, which is what the Holy Spirit called the coming year.  I encourage you to talk to Jesus, and listen, because you need to hear his voice in these sobering times. It all ends well, but there is a lot of grief coming in the meantime.

Sermon 3) WE ARE CREATED TO SERVE

This is the third sermon in the 3 part series:

WE ARE CREATED TO SERVE

We were created by a loving God for friendship and fellowship, with Him and with one another. That was the plan, so many years ago, when he first breathed into Adam in the Garden of Eden. And at the foundation of those relationships is service, one to another, and service to God.

The Father serves. He served mankind by creating a beautiful and useful world, one that provided everything needed. Air to breathe, food to eat, animals for friends and helpers, and companionship and help between man and woman. He serves by listening to and answering prayer. Jesus came to earth and he served. He came as a servant and not as a King or a Prince to be served. He willingly came to give his life because we had lost our way, which was the greatest service that anyone can give to another.

We were created to serve. The sin that came to us from the knowledge of good and evil was to reject the good and love for each other along with love and service for God, and to promote a life of self instead. Instead of living for others, sin leads one to live for itself. Sin is self over others, in one form or another.

So this was the choice: to serve or to live for self. Service leads to happiness and fulfillment, for we were created to live in this manner. Self leaves to unhappiness and emptiness because we were never created for such a narrow, inward, existence.

The lack of understanding over this basic truth has caused unfathomable depths of sorrow and suffering. An alternate world has been offered to mankind, to each individual, to the demons who fell, to all creation. The alternate world is one that revolves around oneself, and not around others, and around our Creator, who is the center of all things, the Beginning and the End, and the source of love and joy and true and abiding happiness.

The first sermon of this series touched on the fact that the beginning of our relationship with God is the realization that as you speak to Jesus (our prayers), he will speak to you. He is alive and speaks and can be known, and in fact, we must know him. We cannot be his Jesus’ bride if we do not know him, as Abraham, Moses, Job, Adam, Paul, and so many others knew God and are his friends. Seek him and listen to his responses, and get to know him.

The second asked the question, who do you say Jesus is? The answer is that he is the way to the Father; he is God Almighty, Savior,  the One who created you, who loves you, and the One to whom you are accountable.

This sermon culminates the thread by exploring the foundation and truth of the Creator’s intention; we were created to serve. Since you can know Jesus, and God our Father, and since you are accountable to him as the Supreme Judge and Savior and One who loves us above all others, then you are accountable to serve.

With this realization your life should change, your prayers should change, your relationship with him and others and the world around you should change. The will of God is that you serve. He serves, Jesus serves, and you were created to do so as well. Open your eyes to the kingdom of God and hear the King, and follow his leading and his words to you, and begin to live and serve him and others as you were created to do.

Fulfillment and abiding contentment and eternal joy will follow.  The response from the Father, from your Creator, will be deep and rich and real and he will begin to seek you out. Friendship with him will grow, and he will begin to share his heart with you, and his burdens with you, even as he carries yours. Your prayers will begin to have power, as you pray for others and for help in serving and following the will of God as he shows it to you. The reason you were created will come into play and you will delight the heart of the Father.

Unfortunately, I must mention, the way will be opposed. It will be opposed by the first one to fall, the first one to put self above others, the one who was called “a murderer and a liar from the beginning”. He will do everything he can to stop you from entering into such a relationship with God. Then the choice will be yours, is God worth it?  He gives you the freedom to make that choice. He gives you the freedom to come and serve with him, to look to the good of the world and eternity and the kingdom of God, and all things on his heart.

You do not need to spring into action to “save the world”. He will lead you. He will show you what to do every day, and for all your life. He has a plan for this world, for mankind, for eternity, and he will draw you into it. He alone knows what to do. He can be trusted to show you what to do, as your friendship and relationship with him deepens, so will your understanding of his plans. Always talk to him about everything and ask his opinion, his help, what to do. He will answer.

THE TRIAL, from Joshua Harrover

THE TRIAL

I found myself in a courtyard in heaven. I was on trial. An angel of God was my defense attorney, while Satan was the prosecutor. The Father was the judge.

I looked up, and the Father said, “Joshua Harrover, I accuse you of sin and crime against the kingdom of God. How do you plead?” I said, “Guilty, Your Honor.” He then said, “I sentence you to death by the pit (hell)” and he told an angel who was serving as bailiff to escort me there. That angel and another took me by the arms and were going to throw me across Abraham’s Bosom into hell. Then, as it all seemed hopeless and lost, Jesus walked into the courtroom.

I heard Jesus’ voice behind me and he said, “Stop”. He asked the Father to let him see my check. The check represented my wages of sin and death. He examined the check and asked the Father, “What are his wages?” The Father said, “They are astronomical.” Jesus then took the check and signed his cursive signature on it in his blood. He said, “I grant this man full pardon and I ask mercy from this court.”

I thanked the Father and Jesus and started to leave the courtroom. But before I did, the Father said he had something to tell me. He said that the whole vision was to remind me that Jesus saved my life while the enemy tried to put it on trial and my family as well. He said, “the Greeks had a god they called the god of love, but I AM the God of Love, because I sent my Son to die for all humanity.”

Later, my uncle Robert was called up on the same charges and he declared himself guilty. Again the Father sentenced him, but Jesus signed his check. He was shown mercy, so he sat near the bailiff and watched other trials. Each person’s check was signed with Jesus’ signature in his blood. After the Father forgave all, he took off his judge’s robe, which was the symbol of his right to judge, and underneath he was wearing a white garment. He walked up to those who had been pardoned and hugged them.

Next, I saw the Father and he was sitting beneath a tree in heaven in a beautiful pasture. This pasture was in a private section of the Kingdom of God where the Father goes to rest and not hear the cries of those in hell. The Father was sad, but Jesus and the Holy Spirit came to him to comfort him. They showed him a plan they have; a blueprint against the enemy.

end of vision

NOTE: Joshua is a teenager who sees powerful images and visions from the Father. He and his family are related to Padre Pio, a Catholic saint (1887-1968) who also saw visions from the Holy Spirit, and who bore the stigmata for fifty years. I will be posting more from Joshua in the future.

11 day vigil

Today is the third day of an eleven day vigil for the children of the world. The vigil began on 11-1-11 and will end on 11-11-11. This is indeed the eleventh hour.

It started when the Father called us to a vigil while we were watching some videos about the child soldiers in northern Uganda. The Lord’s Resistance Army has been kidnapping children and forcing them to commit atrocities, often against their own families. Complete horror has been perpetrated on that nation by Joseph Kony and his army, which is reportedly 90% made up of children or adults who were forced to join as children.

Do a search on YouTube for children soldiers in Uganda and watch several videos, then join us in the vigil. There are extemely serious times coming for all in this world and this vigil is for the innocent; the children, no matter where they are located. We are going to try and get the free picture of Jesus that we give out through Operation: Jesus Pictures into the hands of some of the children there. Pastor Jean Miruho, who is living in southern Uganda with his family, has said he will take some north if we cannot send them directly to a mission or refugee group there.

The Holy Spirit said that this is the beginning of ”the year of Satan”. Children are always a target to that brutal being, so we are earnestly seeking the heavenly Father for their protection and rescue. We also ask for the capture or death of Joseph Kony and those following him. Father, please bring justice for the suffering that has been caused. Amen.

Sermon 2) WHO DO YOU SAY JESUS IS?

This is the second sermon in the series, as the Holy Spirit points out basic truths to us in this day and hour.

WHO DO YOU SAY JESUS IS?

Jesus asked the disciples who the crowds following him said that he is. They replied, some say you are a prophet, some say you are John the Baptist, some say that you are Elijah.  Jesus said, “Who do YOU say I am?”  Peter answered him simply, “You are the Messiah, the Christ, the Son of God.” Jesus said, “You have this wisdom from the Father.” It was not Peter who brilliantly figured it out; it was revelation from God, and it was true. Jesus said, upon this rock (upon this truth) I will build my church, and he has done so. He is the Messiah, the Savior.  He is the Christ, Lord of All, and he is the Son of God, and God himself in the flesh. This is basic doctrine.

The Apostle Paul understood that the sacrifice of God, as he allowed himself to be killed for our sin, was too great for only the Jews. It must be for all of mankind, and indeed it was. The world was changed by the understanding of Paul. He was taken to prison in Rome and died there, but later Rome, from whom the Jews deeply desired their freedom, was converted to Christianity and became followers of Jesus. So, the understanding of Paul brought great changes in the world. Jesus was right in all that he did and said. He did not rescue the Jewish nation from Rome because something much greater was at hand and indeed, was necessary, which was the rescue of mankind (including the Jews) from our sin. Jesus alone was qualified to pay the penalty for our sin, to redeem us from the enemy of God and mankind, and he did so. Then, he converted Rome, so Israel could have trusted him and received him as their Messiah, if only they had asked the Father about this.

Now comes this day and hour. Serious times are upon us; the world is in deadly peril, such as she has never faced. Do you see the signs of the times? Do you see the gathering of the tares, as the wicked unite together across the world to come against God’s will and to make this earth their own? Man rejects God and the consequences are swiftly coming upon us. Why are our children so brainwashed by godless men in the schools and government? Liberty is in grave danger.

Do you see the signs of the times? Do you see the warnings of nuclear disaster that the Holy Spirit has clearly pointed outin 2011? I can think of three warnings: the first was after the tsunami in Japan on March 11, 2011, and the radioactive threat which arose because of the leaks in the nuclear power plant there. The second warning happened in Los Alamos, New Mexico, USA, when a wildfire brought danger to the door of the nuclear power plant where radioactive material was stored in barrels above the ground. If they had been ignited, and they nearly were, what would they have put into the atmosphere for those living nearby, or far away as the winds carried the danger?  The third warning occurred in Virginia, USA, when a nuclear power plant was shut down as a precaution because of the threat from Hurricane Irene, though it did not reach it. The Holy Spirit said at the time that this was the third warning in a very short period of time.

What did he say to you about it? Did you know these warnings were present and before mankind? What did Jesus say to you about these events? Do you realize that nuclear disaster is coming, it is at the door? We have been warned, and it will come to pass. Who do you say Jesus is? If he is the Messiah, your Savior, if He is the Lord and the Bridegroom, then do you hear him? Do you recognize that the Father is engaged in a great battle over good and evil? Who do you say Jesus is? Do you mouth religious words about Jesus, like the Laodicean Church, but with no power, no personal understanding from Jesus about events around you, nor relationship with him, as a friend, a servant, a Bride?

Paul’s understanding about Jesus changed the world. What do you understand? One thing that you must understand, says the Holy Spirit, is the seriousness of the struggle. The evil one is just that: evil. He is brutal, he is viciously determined to destroy mankind, one by one, and on a large scale. In the book of Revelation it is revelaed that 1/3 of the world will  be destroyed. Satan looks for the most suffering he can inflict so that the Father’s tender, loving heart will be wounded, and mankind destroyed and undermined in his eyes.

The enemy knows well how blind and fallen mankind is, and how the religious do not see the signs of the times nor hear the Holy Spirit, nor see that the world is bring pulled to death and destruction, day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. Satan sees disaster very close at hand, and he knows it well, for he has worked tirelessly to set events in motion that would lead to large scale suffering and destruction. Where is Jesus in the midst of this? Do you know what He is doing and where he is moving? Do you see and understand the fulfilling of Scriptures that is happening before our eyes? What has Jesus said to you about it?

We sang a song to Jesus at church recently. It is called, “I need thee every hour”. The Holy Spirit said that is this exactly accurate, except it should be “I need thee every fifteen minutes”. We need Jesus like we need the air we  breathe. We need to hear him, we need him to lead us, we need his wisdom and understanding, we need his help in every way to overcome the wicked one with whom we are at war. This is not religious rhetoric, this is literally true. If you cannot hear Jesus, do not know him, nor his Father, your Creator, you are in deadly danger, along with your family, your nation, and the nations of the world. You must get these truths and understanding from Jesus himself. Peter did. Paul did. You can. (This does not mean that you cannot learn from others, or from the Scriptures, but you must know Jesus’ voice and hear him and be able to ask him anything and hear his answers.)

Signs of the times are all around us. Do you see the sign of the times with the uniting of communism? Not only is there a new and fresh union in the communist nations across the world, such as Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, and others, but they have their eye on America itself. Communism is a social system that rejects God and puts man in charge. Wasn’t this the state of things at the Tower of Babel? Man decided he did not need God, and that he would build his own world, his own tower, his own great city, and “make a name for himself”.  And so it is now. Who is behind this rising of communism/socialism, this gathering of power on earth, rising to oppose America and the freedom we have? It is Satan himself, the one known as the Great Dragon, the enemy of God and mankind. Have you seen the signs?  Are you aware that China, North Korea, (and even Iran) have praised the Occupy Wall Street movement in New York, America, and across the world? China and Russia are secretly powerfully encouraged to see this opposition to capitalism within America,  and they are making plans to exploit it in whichever way they can. Danger lies ahead.

Do you see the signs of the rise of Islam? The enemy has worked feverishly behind the scenes to set in motion the scenario in which he can bring his number one weapon to power. Islam will rule the world he assures them, and he promises he will help them to conquer Europe, destroy Israel, and overcome the West, including America. Don’t be deceived. The enemy is filled with fury at the idea of an Arab Spring based on freedom. Rather, he plans an Arab takeover, with Sharia law to be spread far and wide, with violence and destruction the method to reach his aims, including the use of wmd, which is when the nuclear will come into play. What has the Holy Spirit said of this to you? Seek him earnestly and seriously, lest you “go down with the ship”, as you cling to the blind church, the blind guides, leading you to the ditch. The days leading up to the flood, commonly called, “the days of Noah” were filled with violence, and violence is growing exponentially on the earth now.  You must seek Jesus now. Talk to him, and hear from him, and determine who he really is. Is he the Bridegroom? If so, then you must hear his voice. Do not find yourself like the foolish virgins without oil in your lamp, as you listen to more sermons, more Scriptures, seeking more oil, yet never filling your lamp.  There are two groups of five in that parable: one group is the fallen church, represented by the apostle, prophet, pastor, evangelist, and teacher, and the other group are the Believers (the Holy Spirit says they are a remnant, a small portion of the whole) who are not fallen, who hear Jesus and love him and know him as Moses did.

Do you know him as Moses did? He is no respecter of persons. You absolutely can know him well, for you were created to do so. This is a matter of faith. Seek him until you do find him, for he is the one on whom you must pin all hopes.

When Jesus was transfigured, while atop the high mountain with Peter, James, John, Elijah, and Moses, the Father said, “This is my Son, with whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.” We must listen today. Though it is the word of God, the Holy Bible is not enough for this day and hour. We need the living Word of God, the present Messiah, the Bridegroom, the powerful and returning Jesus to stand in these most perilous times, when even the elect would be deceived, except that Jesus cannot be deceived, and will show the truth. Who do you say Jesus is? Hopefully, your friend, your bridegroom,  and your God, whom you know and love and serve.

Sermon 1) TALK TO JESUS, HE WILL TALK TO YOU

There are three sermons I preached recently, though they were not recorded as were some of the teachings I have been giving on Sunday.  (As we read through the Scriptures in the little OJP Fellowship chapel.)  May you take to heart, and seek Jesus, about what you read here.

1)  TALK TO JESUS. HE WILL TALK TO YOU.

This is basic and the foundation for everything in our relationship with God. Jesus is alive and real and near and hears us, and responds. We must listen to him and see what is on his heart as well as share what is on ours. It is the time to leave the Laodicean Church, who thinks they are rich and in need of nothing, but who do not know him personally, though they feel they do.

They believe in Jesus. They believe he is God, they believe he died for them and rose again, and they believe he will return. Yes, they don’t know him. Moses knew the Father and obeyed everything that the Father said to him to do. Adam knew him and walked with him “in the cool of the day”. Job loved him and stayed true to him, though he suffered greatly from that which came to afflict him. Yet, he conversed with God, and was God’s friend.

But Christians today are not his friends. They have their beliefs about him and the many doctrines they have embraced, but they don’t really know what is on his heart, nor what he is doing in the world in this day and hour. Everything they believe is colored by their religious beliefs, from what they have learned in the Laodicean Church, who thinks they a good relationship with him, but are mistaken.

The foundation of our fatih is Jesus himself. He is the Head of the Church, and to the Bride, he must be known. If you do not know him as Abraham did, then you are not his Bride. You only think you are, because the church has taught you so. Jesus can be known, and must be known, personally by you. Probably you have heard him before, or had dreams from him, or felt his presence in the worship service at your church. It is not enough.

What has he said to you of the War on Terror? Do you see the signs of the times? Do you see the tares gathered, just as Jesus foretold in his parables when he was on earth before his death? Talk to Jesus; He will talk to you. If you do not believe this, you are woefully behind the leading and actions of the Holy Spirit, you are out of touch with the Father. Jesus came to restore you to the Father, our Creator, so be restored then, and start talking to him and hearing from him. There is much suffering coming to the earth, and what will be your role as the Father moves to engage the enemy and to help the helpless. What will you do for your Savior? Preach more of your fallen gospel, thinking that you are doing God a favor? The Pharisees and teachers of the law in Jesus’ day stuck with their religion and their beliefs, even as the Son of God confronted them. Jesus said to them, “you travel over land and sea for a single convert, and then you make him twice as much a son of hell as you yourself.”

Naturally the Pharisees did not think this was so. They were furiously angry with Jesus for what he said, but they NEVER ONCE ASKED THE FATHER, THEIR GOD. In the same way, the Laodicean Church continues in what they believe, without Jesus saying a word to them. It is the time to leave that fallen state, and to seek him to come to know him, as Abraham knew him.
